Yup 198. I want to get around 205 morning weight and 210 day weight, max. I don't think its necessary for me to bulk up to 220 and get fat again. I'm going to slowly gain with lots of clean food this time around.

I definitely think that's the way to go. I plan on staying as lean as possible pretty much indefinitely.

Thomas, you make it sound like being fat is a bad thing... I'm a bit hurt...
You should come by Elite on Monday and train with us again. You could get used to the monolift again. Speaking of which, we are in the process of building a new monolift. It should be done before the end of the year. I'm not sure where we will store the old one once the new one is built...

    Thanks Terry!

Fucking damnit! I've diagnosed myself with a grade 1 glute strain. I've had it for a couple weeks. I've been pushing through it hoping it would go away but its only getting worse. I still have full function of the muscle but If I keep training through it I can turn something small into something big. I won't be squatting or deadlifting next week. I'm really hoping its better after that. I will be icing and heating every day, possibly some soft tissue work I'm going to contact my Chiro and see what he thinks.

Worked up o 500x3 on the deadlift today after taking a week off from lower body due to my glute. Good news is I felt strong today. Bad news is I hurt my glue again, fuck. Apparently I didn't take enough time off.

Got my first bloody nose today!

Hey Guys long time no talk! Haven't been posting because I strained my glute pretty bad so I haven't been able to train lower body since about two weeks ago, I've just been going light making sure not to hurt my glute. I lost my spirit with training so I didn't train with much passion for upper body either.

My glute is now better and I am back. It will take a while to get my strength back so don't be expecting anything too exciting for awhile. Also my goals have changed for now. I'm not going to focus on just powerlifting right now. My goals are to be all around more fit, healthy and athletic with a strength bias. I'd like to stay around 200lbs. I'd like to dunk a basketball, run under a 7minute mile, get better at gymnastics movements(body manipulation) dabble into the olympic lifts, play more sports, Squat 500 Raw, Bench 350 raw, deadlift-550-585 raw, clean and jerk 350, box jump 50" try new sports and play more sports in general. These are just some goals off the top of my head right now.

Vid from a bench only meet. I definitely was not peeked for this but I mostly just showed up to support the Utah powerlifting community and my friends competing. I did 325 easy got redlighted for press command. Re-did got it. Then failed 330. Doing 325 twice wore me out should have just jumped to 335 after the red light on my first attempt.

Trying to get away from being such a hard heel striker and working on running flat footed and "striking a pose." I'd like to get my mile to 6:59. Not a huge priority though.
