Just read this little article on ergo log thought i'd post this here get some peoples opinions:
They did a study on sixteen overweight people they ate the same amount of calories but half did it with 3 meals and the other half did it with 6 meals and snacking.

The experience of many natural bodybuilders is that eating more frequently over a day does prevent metabolism from dropping. But only when you eat during mainly protein in the extra ‘meals’, and then at least 30 g protein – 120 kcal – or more. "
No news here. WBB put out an article that said the same thing a few months ago. It's a myth that REALLY needs to die.

Just glancing at this its pretty clear they are more concerned with the overall bodyweight and not too worried about muscle loss vs fat loss. Seems to support multiple small(er) meals as a means to lose weight while preserving muscle mass.
