Hey guys for the past few years, I've had an arm day, where I just do triceps and biceps. It works good with my routine, because I do it at the end of the week, and nothing conflicts.
Anyways, I've realized I've ALWAYS done Triceps first, then I will finish off with biceps. I know Triceps is the meat and potatoes of the arm, so I always did it first, with the best fresh energy.
I'm wondering is it beneficial to do Biceps first at all? Once a month? Every other? For a few weeks?
I like to treat everything equally, so when I used to train opposing muscle groups like that (bis/tris, chest/back, vertical push/vertical pull, etc...) I would always alternate which one I did first every other workout.
I see nothing but good things happening if you started alternated which one you did first every other session.

i think altering them from week to week is just fine. i usually do that, but know i have problems with elbows, so somettimes i just do biceps first for a while so i can make sure that my arms in general are warm.

David is correct. You shouldn't always do the same exercise or bodypart first everytime you train, especially if you are doing a bodypart split. All parts and planes of motion should be treated equally.

Also, you can try alternating muscles.
A1) CG bench
A2) BB curl
This is not meant to be a superset. You can do cg bench then rest 1 min then do bb curls. You can get more work done in less time and you will have a nice arm pump.
Ya thats perfectly fine your mucels will love you this way.
it does not always matter what you do first as long as they both get worked.. its a nice change when you switch it up a bit.
