The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Yeah I think you're right. I'll go for 405 and see if I can get a double perhaps. Thanks man.

Thanks bro. Definitely 405 first! I think the shock alone of 415 would be crazy stress on my core

I'm down man! I'll go for a 405 (perhaps a double if i can) this Friday, and then a week or two after that I'll go for 415! YOU'RE GOIN' DOWN BRO.

Haha, well I bet if you really focused on utilizing the advantages of every mechanical leverage or whatever you could be pulling up more (if you weren't dieting that is).

Holy **** how did you know? XD I went to San Francisco right after my Deadlift workout on Friday basically, just got home today. Had TONS of junk/dessert/sushi/Chinese/Vietnamese/chocolate/icecream/foods/etc. I felt a little bad but I enjoyed myself and decided I probably needed to binge to help with the weight gain anyway (and just to have fun with my cousins and family). It felt good to be a normal person for once walking around town eating ice cream without a dieting care in the world lol. I even weighed 166.5 on the scale at one point lol. Granted though, I was pretty bloated and had my clothes on and my ipod/phone in pockets. So... that weigh-in probably doesn't mean much. Although it felt cool to weigh that much lol.

Haha, that'd be amazing. I did eat lots of ice cream over the weekend though. Sooo good.

Thanks bro. Yeah all the reps were reset. I actually prefer it that way. Touch 'n' go feels really weird to me... like unstable and shaky for some reason. I don't like it *shrug*

So... Gonna Squat tomorrow, and just lift 2 days this week rather than 3 since I missed today due to taking so long driving home. I don't really mind though, I like the 2-day-lifting weeks every now and then. Helps me to get in extra rest and really put forth extra intensity when I do go to the gym.
