They're different. I don't know if one is better than the other though. Right now I am doing a full body routine which I really like because I don't usually get too sore.

I've seen more success with a full body or upper/lower split than 3-4 day.

I definitely like full-body better. I think full-body routines build a lot more strength too. But I'm sure someone could argue against this. Whatever.

I think either can work great or suck depending on how you set it up.

I always find when I try full body routines I'm overtraining and stop making any gains at all... but that's how my body reacts, and I'm not a kid anymore so maybe I need more rest time.

3-4 day works good for me. Some people debate that a full body routine would cause the body to produce more test because of all the heavy compound lifts, therefore achieveing more muscle growth. Anybody know more about that idea? Thoughts?

I like full body as well, but it would also depend on things like current condition and goals. The thread may be old - but - the question is timeless.
