now that winter will be coming to an end in a bit and i've put on a bit of a gut from bulking its time that i start thinking about cutting in the next month or so. what do you guys do or what do you think is the best kind of cardio to do on non-workout days to shed fat, but maintain the muscle gained from bulking? thanks
Of course your cutting will begin in the kitchen. Your cardio should be a supplement to your cutting diet.
But when you are doing cardio, a lot of people find low intensity cardio for 30+ minutes to be beneficial.
Different people will respond differently though.
I find low intensity cardio to be so very boring. I prefer to do HIT intervals on the eliptical or sled pulling. I'm experimenting right now with HIT intervals with the sled.
I tell the wife to clean the frickin house and that her cooking sucks........
then i run like hell
Bench: Half a subway club
Squat: to pee
Deadlift: no thanks
don't let the 12" pythons fool you....i can run way faster scared than you can mad
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are..
I'm considering starting HIIT in two weeks, for the same reason as the original poster. I'm curious to know how you think it's going.
