i got put in a ****ty situation the past 2 months and wasn't able to work out at all. how long do you think it will be until i get my strength back? i went tonight and i lost 90 lbs on squat, 50 lbs on bench and 105 lbs on dead lift. it was extremely discouraging. i know im very dehydrated at the moment so i know that didn't help, and i lost 10 lbs in that 2 months from just not eating enough and doing nothing. i hope to get back to my self in the next 2-3 weeks, im doing SS M W F and random cardio on T TH SA (nothing crazy just getting the heart rate up for 30 mins) and then take sunday off.
Don't worry about it. Sounds like you really need to spend some time getting your nutrition back in check
The strength will come back quicker than you think, you just have to give it time.

Depending on how high your lifts were/are, I think you'll be back to where you were shortly. Maybe you'll make it back in 2-3 weeks, maybe not...but I DO think when you make it back, you'll have more momentum and you'll be setting PRs in no time. I hope you're feeling better and stuff.

because i have drank about 1 gallon of water over the past 2 weeks. and my urine is very dark.
It will not take you long to get back to you're formal level of strength w/ consistant training and proper nutrition.
Start out slow to avoid undue soreness/ injury and build confidence w/ the weights... Muscle memory will kick-in soon so hang in there and be patient!
Think about it this way. If you lost 10 lbs, and when you weighed yoruself dehydrated, maybe only 5 lbs is actually body mass and not water weight. That means out of that 5 lbs, maybe half is muscle. So you probably only lost a few lbs of real muscle-- not a big deal.The rest is just muscle memory-- you haven't done any of the movements in two months. If you haven't played tennis, basketball, or golf in two months do you think you would be as good?
You should be back to normal in a few weeks.

CHINUPS - Bodyweight + 135, x1, dead hang. Still working on the one arm chinup.
I was only out two weeks and I lost 70lbs off my squat when I went in. I hit three reps of 365 no problem then hopped up to 405, thinking I could at least get to 450-475 with another set or two and got crushed on 405. It sucked I can tell you. But I bet it will come back pretty quick. God, I hope so anyway!
Should be back in no more than a month.
