I was in my A workout today.
Flat Bench 265lb 5x12
Decline Bench 145lb 3x12
Skull Crushers 70lb 5x12
Isolated Tricep Extensions w/ a Cable & D ring handle: 25lb 3x12
Shoulders were scheduled next, (Cuban presses and lateral raises) but by the time I got there, my shoulders were already on fire (like I'd already worked them)....especially the rear deltoids.....
I decided to scratch the shoulders ~ why overtrain, right? and went on to my abs.
Now that the workout is over, I'm wondering why my shoulders were so lit up. I've been doing this exact workout for about 2 months, and never experienced this situation.
I did move up weight on my skull crushers, could this have caused it?
Finally, and most importantly, if you were in my situation would you have skipped shoulders, or just plowed on through?
