The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

How fast do you go thru 5lbs of WHEY?

Seems like i've been getting _atleast_ 4 sccops in a day. Therefore I went thru my Myoplex 5lb bag in a bout a month!

Just seeing how everyone else on here does it!

I'm currently using 4-5 scoops of protein a day. 1-2 scoops whey during the day, 1-2 scoops whey PWO, and 1 scoop casein before bed.

It gets pricey but if you shop around online and buy in bulk you can keep it around $0.50-$0.60 per scoop (you can even get Nitrean that cheap if you do the multi-unit discount and buy when they have a 15% sale on). I end up spending around $2-$3 a day / $14-$21 a week / $60-$90 a month / $730-$1095 a year depending how much I'm paying for my protein and if I use 4 or 5 scoops.

The key is to look at the shakes as food. When I've helped friends get started with a routine I always try to stress how important diet is and how shakes can be a healthy, convenient way to get some extra protein and calories in their diet. They always complain about how much protein costs. I usually ask them would you feel like its a waste to buy a candy bar, a bag of chips, or a soda for a snack once a day for $1-$2. Obviously their answer is no. So I just tell them next time they want a candy bar or a soda just drink a shake instead. They end up saving money and they replace unhealthy calories with healthy calories as well as boosting their daily protein intake.
