    Question about something that happened last saturday while benching at the meet

    I missed my 3rd bench attempt. I was trying 418, I got it about half way up and let the bar get a little too much toward my face and missed the lift. But the weird thing was how it felt when the weight was taken. It kind of felt like an electric shock going down my arms. I wasn't in any pain pressing ( well more like holding ) the weight before they took it, but after they took it I kind of was for a couple seconds. Anybody know what happened and what caused it? After a couple seconds I felt completely normal again.
