The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I am Greek and I support the Greek team.. but we didn't qualify to the World Cup finals..

If England wins the World Cup,it's good for them.. I like their team but I have latin spirit,lol..

As long as my fav team isn't participating, I can support any team-s I want to. If you want I can change my flag to the Danish one, cuz their captain (Rene Henriksen) is the best player of my fav team in Greece,Panathinaikos..

As for the pic that shows the Argies with the bags, it's made by the students of the University of Patras in Greece.

    Everybody here's with Bresil..

Wizard - Oh sh*t! I can't believe it. Oh well you are still the estrella.

It's going down today...Mexico vs. Italy...I can't wait! Cuahtemoc Blanco MUST play better this game and get more involved! I think we can do it. Si se puede, si se puede! Viva Mexico! I will celebrate the victory...oh yes I will...
"In the grand scheme of things, both things are quite superficial(obsessed with being muscular&ripped and incredibly strong). And yet lifting can teach you so much. My time at the gym--at least when I'm lifting--is invariably the high-point of my day. There aren't any questions; I almost don't even think. I go into an almost meditative trance-like state. Day-to-day worries become insignificant. I'm focused solely on the weight, and my reason for existence is clear. To move the bar and to improve on what I accomplished last time. Seldom are things so simple." - Blood&Iron

"Most people cannot understand what burns in our blood, the gym is our addiction and iron is our drug. People don't understand why we commit hours a day to a goal where progress is so small it seems immeasurable, why we do cardio instead of watch TV, why eat 6 meals a day, why we insist on ordering diet soda or how we can drink skim milk. Most people will simply never grasp why we refuse to settle for a mediocre body." - Severed Ties

    Bye bye Croatia.

Next time save up enough cash to pay off the refs and linesman for two games. One apparently wasn't enough.

Damn, looks like Italy is still in it.

I don't really follow soccer, but my only interest in the game is that the teams with the most obnoxious fans should lose.

I was pleased to see France go down in flames, and I had high hopes when I heard that Mexico was up on Italy 1-0, but then Italy came back to tie.

Hopefully they will lose in the round of 16 so that all the obnoxious turds with their car flags, honking horns and all that stuff will go home and hush up.

    Uh, oh.

(BTW, the US has a shot to WIN their group. All they have to do is beat Poland, and have Korea tie or lose to Portugal. That's not out of the question, is it?)

US scored but so did Poland again...so I guess the goal differential hasn't changed. At least I believe that's how it would work if portugal manages to tie.

I stayed home today to watch the US game.

At the 7 minute mark, I was just sitting there, staring... I almost opened a beer to cry into (it was 7:40 am).

Very poor showing, although they got it a little together in the second half.

I have no idea what is wrong with Agoos. Terrible play, then a rather mysterious injury.

Game easily could have been a 2-2 draw.

Poland had 6 guys start today who had not seen a minute of playing time in the first two games. They played the young fresh guys, who had nothing to lose and plenty to prove. They played a very good game.

No matter. I switched over to the Korea Portugal game, and saw the goal (a beauty). Portugal had a couple of chances, playing 2 men down.

US vs Mexico next. I'll be quite suprised by a victory, but the US has beaten Mexico before.

England/Denmark should be a good match tomorrow.

In all honesty, the way Me 'hico are playing I can't see the US beating them.
