The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Yanyan’s Mansta Chili Bomb (WW Pasta, Chili, Beef, and Chicken)

Veggies? Men don't need veggies . But it would taste pretty good with some peppers. Nom nom nom.

    My favorite steak marinade.

I tried the chili bomb and it was DELICIOUS. I love these recipes because I am wayyy too lazy to cook anything complicated.

These are the simplest recipes you can ever do... They have great taste plus don't take too many steps to do.

Special protein bar recipe coming tomorrow. 3-4 ingredients, healthy, low fat, high protein.

I tried the cottage cheese ice cream and it was good, though it probably would have been better with unsalted cottage cheese.

I tried making the brownie and it kind of exploded out of the bowl. How big is the bowl you use and do you cover it with anything?

Try using more cool whip or jelly.

Also I use 4% cottage cheese from the 5 lb jugs at Sam's Club.

For the brownie, just a normal size bowl, how did it explode out?

Protein bar recipe looks interesting. Have you thought about adding some fat to it? A little coconut oil would make them moist, tasty, and add some healthy fat.

For the chicken recipe I would add some spices to the mix. A little pepper and garlic powder would bring out some flabor. Maybe some paprika or cayenne for a bit of a kick. I always season my breaded chicken.

This bar is targeted to dieters. Try the bulking bar recipe I have linked.

My cutting profile is 1 gram of protein per body weight, < 50 grams of fat, and rest in carbs with 2.3k calories. This means I need to watch my fat intake.

Great points! I typically don't use salt/pepper on my chicken, I usually eat it plain but if you added a dry rub, it would taste really good!

I cut on higher fat/lower carbs so the added fat would be good for me. Plus coconut oil is a good healthy fat that is solid at roomtemp so it would help them with consistency and taste. It was just an idea.

That actually is a great suggestion. I'll try the coconut oil sometime.

The reason I cut on 50 g fat and higher carbs is that my activity levels are INSANE, like I'm a very active person, so I need the energy. I started cutting this summer at 163 pounds and today I weighed in at 149 on this macro breakdown. I like it because I'm not sluggish, but I personally love fats maybe a bit more than carbs.

I figured it out. I was using a cover so that it wouldn't splash all over the microwave. It was expanding into the cover and then spilling off the sides of the bowl. Without the cover, it expands a bunch but doesn't actually fall out of the bowl (even though it looks like it will). Tasted really good, but had a little bit of an aftertaste, probably because of all the sugar free stuff.

What type of protein did you use? That might be where the aftertaste is coming from. The pudding really has no aftertaste, it is delicious

So far I tried you tuna sandwich, the tomato fish fillet and the ice cream. The ice cream is out of this world! Next time I make the tomato fish fillet I'm going to serve it over WW pasta.

Tomarrow my wife is going to make the oatmeal chicken and the sweet potato fries. Next Friday I think I'll make us the pizza's followed by some cheescake.

I like these recipe's because I can finally make something that is healthy and the whole family can eat. The wife and kids could no longer stomach my boring diet of chicken breast, and grilled Talipa.

    Keep'em comin!

Good luck on the cheese cake because that one needs to be followed pretty carefully.

Also for the chicken, season it any way you want
