The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Testing the water

I know i'll probably get abused for asking but if im doing Program 2 could i add a yoke/upper back exercise to Workout A (Shrug variation, face pull etc, traps and upper back have always needed extra attention) and a hamstring exercise to workout B (My deadlift suffers without some kind of leg flexion movement and i plan to compete in powerlifting sometime soon). Be kind. Thanks guys.
    Current 1RM's - Bench 264lbs (Target 308lbs)/Squat 396lbs (Target 352lbs)/
    Deadlift 429lbs (Target 440lbs)
    BIG 3 TOTAL at 220lbs (28% BF) = 1089lbs

Are you sure this is the best routine for somebody wanting to compete in power lifting?

Depending on who's asking I'll generally advise sticking within the parameters given, there's a lot of flexibility in there anyway, but occasionally a good question gets asked, so hopefully others won't take it out of context and start butchering the program.

Yes, do facepulls etc if you like, I do facepulls myself every workout or some other shoulder health exercise, sometimes between sets of other exercises, active recovery if you like.
If you're confident that the inclusion of an additional exercise is neccessary then go ahead.
