Thanks mate, I am VERY happy with it, it is a very good program with solid progression and I got great gains!

Events Day well here it is my first events day, still snow outside so had to be careful, for obvious reasons I will not be able to flip tyres or what not in the rain and snow, I am just not that l33t sorry to let you down

    Farmers Walk

Goal-60KG Per Hand, (all weights are per hands)

    2x35Mx50KG (110LBS)
2x35Mx68KG (150LBS) Not a bad effort beat my goal.

    Crucifix Hold

Arms at 90Degrees 17KG (38LBS) Per Hand, Scaffold poles

    3x20Seconds OMG That hurt

    Axel Press

6x35KG (77LBS) Just wanted to warm the shoulders up, gotta get used to this wide bar, made it much harder.

    Viking Press

Supersetted these with 18Inch Deadlifts with the strongman kit. They are huge unwieldy wheels on either side of a thick bar, the wheels are 38inches high. Got myself puffing hard at the end!

    Deadlifts

    5x5x110KG (242LBS)

Viking Press I loved this no shoulder niggles it feels so natural to me loved it

    2x10x50KG (110LBS)
    2x6x65KG (143LBS)
    2x4x72.5KG (159.5LBS)
    3x3x80KG (176LBS)

The pulley system on this and form makes it very different to OH press but I really loved it I think this could be a good lift for me but early days.

    Dips

5x5 just wanted a bit of volume in here felt strong couldnt do a few events due to the weather, that could be the story till spring but i can start getting used to stuff and the difference in the equipment.

Thanks to everyone for checking in it makes a huge difference.

Back in the gym on Monday for pressing day.

Wow, that looks like fun. Looks like you got your feet wet on several events. I expect to see some imrovements quickly as you get used to everything. Thanks for sharing. And if you get a chance, try and tell me what the heck a Viking Press is, I'm not picturing it.

I hope so, most of my session are in the gym but it should help I feel very beat up again today, I have noticed there is a lot of focus on my Traps and upper back in this routine where there was not so much with HCT-12 I am enjoying working different areas so far! Thanks for checking in mate!

I am 12 stone ATM my heaviest ever weight, plan to bulk in phases up to 15 on this program. That is the long run anyway....

Te deads are ok the higher bar 18' makes it easier the thing I am strugglig, or at least finding difficult with all the strongman events, is the size of it all, the bars are huge and everything is an of shape or oddly balanced all y stability muscles like core, hips and lower back are feeling it, but there is nothin better for real life strength, I often get asked to pull 300 ton airplanes... or put a log on top of a roof :-s
