    Odd workout today

Err today was an odd workout, i felt really nackered after the first set of bench press my gym owner came in just as i was planning to pack it in as i was struggling with dipping 17.5KG and told me i can lift more than this and gave me a bit of motivation. And here is what happened.

    Bench
Low Low Bench today just didnt have it in me
    6+2+2+2x70KG (154LBS)

    Dips

    6+2+2+2x25KG (55LBS)

    DB Rows

    Brand spanking new PR!

    6+2+2+2x36KG (79.2LBS)

    Rack Chins

    6+2+2+2xBW+20KG (44LBS)

Some shoulder press and super sets with dips and pulldowns to finish just for a bit of fun and chop things up again just this once

Thanks mate, they are all challenges nice to have beaten my mind. I am still a newbie so learning to overcome the crap days is just as important as making the most of the crap ones.

I am more proud of my DB row PR that session than my squat one when everything felt good.

Cheers for checking in again OR

112.5kg? That's fantastic! I'm still away at the moment and haven't been using the internet too much but thought I'd check in and see how people were doing. Very well it turns out! Squats are the one exercise I feel like I can always find more on... If you needed to psyche up and attack it then great. It will keep getting harder but dig deep and you'll just keep adding weight if you believe you can do it.

Man, I want to get back in the gym... you guys are going to be ahead of me once I'm back!

Thanks for checking in Daniel! I am loving each session at the moment, at my heaviest weight ever and strongest i have ever been as well, cant ask for much more. As i have mentioned i will be deloading after Monday on holiday, making the best of a bad situation and being away from the gym, give the niggles and body a bit of breathing space

Thanks again for all your work on HCT-12 Daniel.

    Squatastic ;)

    Here is my latest workout

    Squats

New PR totally wiped me out, i am going to stop adding weight to my squat for the next 2 session i have climbed from 102.5 to 120 in less than two weeks an i want to spend a couple of sessions making sure i am not dropping any form, i kept it for this set on 120 but i felt very close to loosing my balance bellow parrallel. Still claiming it as i did it!

    6+2+2+2x120KG (264LBS)

    SLDL

6+2+2+2x70KG (154LBS) i was smashed after the squats

    Calf Raises

    6+2+2+2x90KG (198LBS)

    Bicep curls to finish....

Very happy with that session, just gonna watch the squat next time, i got them but just wanna be careful...

Dang! That effort is really paying off. And to think, it wasn't that long ago that you were still using the Smith Machine. Very nice.
