The challenge is from Martin Rooneys new book, Ultimate Warrior Workouts.
How many push-ups, chin-ups, sit-ups, and dips can you do in four minutes?
As many push-ups as you can do in one minute.
Rest 15 seconds.
As many chin-ups as you can do in one minute.
Rest 15 seconds.
As many modified sit-ups as you can do in one minute.
Rest 15 seconds.
As many dips as you can do in one minute.
- You must provide a video
- There should be NO breaks in the video
- You need to provide a total for each of the four minutes and an overal total reps (so 40 pushups, 65 situps... etc)
- You need to properly time them - either have a partner using a stop watch or use a beeping stop watch

I would love to try this. But my chins would be 1.. and due to a weird issue with my elbow I can't actually come back up from a dip... I may try it anyway though!

I might have my son that is going to the SEALs do this test. I won't enter him,but would be cool to see his numbers on this.And your talking chin-ups,not pull-ups right?
He has to take another SEAL test tomorrow so maybe next week.

Yeah I won't be doing this one lol. NO chance I'd come in even close.
This actually wasn't my idea for the competition, but it was one that we wanted to open up to more of the bodybuilding guys on the board. Otherwise all us powerlifters are going to take everything

If it weren't for the chin ups, I think most powerlifters would do well in this. Pushups are just an upside down BW bench, dips are just BW tri ext and our ROM on situps is short. LOL.

I think the idea is great. Thank God for the chin ups, otherwise I'd probably try it and I would suffer dearly for a while. I have a couple of meets coming up in the next two months. I often get stupid around that time. No need to tempt me.

just completed this, much harder than i thought it would be when i finished i felt like puking and couldnt lift my arms. Originally i thought i was going to train shoulders after but i had to go home. Shortest gym trip ever. Also sorry for the bad camera angles i had to film and time it myself. Breakdown and totals at the end of the movie.
