here is a new entry for me, tried to keep the form pretty strict this time, had to shut it down somewhat on the chin ups though due to the tendinitis
61 pushups, 13 chin ups, 41 sit ups, 19 dips

So i tried this out today just to get an idea if it'd be worth my time to video it for the competition. I got:

    115 Total Reps
    Push ups: 43
    Chin Ups: 25
    Sit Ups: 27
    Dips: 20

I might give it a try again this weekend and tape it. My two biggest surprises were how well I did on the chin ups and how bad I did on sit ups. I haven't done chin ups without a weight belt in a while and I ended up getting 20 in a row without a break, then rested a little and got 5 more in. By the time I got to the sit ups I was starting to really feel drained. I was expecting to get at least 35. Hopefully on my retry when I tape it I can hit 50 pushups, 30 chin ups, 35 sit ups, 25 dips for a total of 140.

Will's Ultimate Workout Warrior Video Response

I tried this with my friend today. The push ups weren't bad because I'm used to doing them for the APFT. The sit ups were tough because we do them a little different in the Army. I felt pretty good on the chin ups, but the dips really surprised me at the end. They're a lot harder when you're tired haha. It was a really good workout overall it definitely smoked me!

    I got a total of 173 reps.
80 Push Ups, 23 Chin Ups, 53 Sit Ups, 17 Dips
So I was thinking, it doesn't really matter if I lose this fight, because all I want to do is go the distance.

    Bench Press: 250 lb.
    Overhead Press: 175 lb.
    Squat: 335 lb.
    Deadlift: 345 lb.

    5'6 150 lb.

53 push ups, 19 chin ups, 65 modified sit ups, 11 dips
    Total- 148

My brother started the camera late by like 4 pushups or something but we left those uncounted.

normally don't do too much bodyweight stuff but I was pretty disappointed in the number of chin ups I did cause my max is around 23. May do this again before the deadline is up and see if I can improve.

I got 66 pushups and then my wife stopped the timer for some unknown reason.....Pretty depressing. I am not sure if I will get in another try before the deadline since our gym is closed memorial day. I may try and see if I can figure something out at a park or something to make it work.

This was quite a bit harder than I thought it would be lol. I knew the sit-ups would be a weak point for me, but I wasn't expecting to be so wiped by the time I started dips. I decided to do mine in my garage instead of the gym so I wouldn't have to worry about people getting in the way. Ignore the mess .

    Total reps: 124 @ 189lbs

    Push-ups:57
    Chin-ups: 19
    Modified Sit-ups: 32
    Dips: 16

Superb effort mate - 148 is a solid number.

Dont under-estimate how har it is to go into chins after 60 secs of push ups!

And an entry for the lightweight women's open division. A little disappointed with my finish, but won't be redoing it before the deadline, because I plan to thoroughly enjoy my day off tomorrow. I blame Marcus, but he is also the one that told me about the competition, so I guess it's a wash.

    125 total = 59 pushups, 14 chinups, 36 "modified" situps, 16 dips

I want to apologize for there being two videos. My gf accidentally hit a button to start a new one. I understand the rules completely and will respect the decision if my video is discredited. However, I didn't place in the top 3 so it's not a factor anyways. I think my form for the most part was fine. I kiffed a little on the chin ups. I tried my best to not do it but it just kinda came out. The sit ups really did me in because I couldnt get in a groove with my form. One was so bad I couldn't count it lol.

    Video

    Push ups - 60
    Chin ups - 21
    Sit ups - 33 (1 I didn't count)
    Dips - 18

    Total reps - 132

EDIT: I clicked the youtube icon and added the link in between the youtube things and thats how it came out. How can i fix this?

Here is my entry. I'm a little disappointed in my total. I knew the chin-ups would be my weak point. I thought I would do better on the dips though. I underestimated how worn out I would be when I got to them. Usually I can rep out 20 bodyweight dips without stopping pretty easily, but I was dieing at 10! Oh well, it was fun trying this and I did my best. I will have to give it a go again some time, and try to beat my numbers.

Oh, and sorry about the camera angle on the dips. My wife turned the camera for some reason.

    Pushups: 62
    Chin-ups: 16
    Sit-ups: 33
Dips: 20 (didn't count the half reps)

    Total: 131

    Stats: 5'8" 162lbs

I got my wife Charidy to get in on the action as well. She had a little trouble with the modified situps. She couldn't get a rythm going and ended up doing basically an unsupported regular situp. I told her just to do the best she could. Her range of motion on the pushups is probably a little short as well. However, she gave it a good efort and I am proud of her for doing it!

I was filming and was paying more attention to the stopwatch at the start so I missed a few of her first pushups.

    Pushups: 45
    Chin-ups: 11
    Sit-ups: 21
    Dips: 20

    Stats: 5'6" 118 lbs.

here's another female powerlifter entry...just don't be too hard on me...after all I'm probably old enough to be your mother...lol

48 y/o (I'll take the heavy weight to Becky's lightweight)
    Pushups: 47
    Chins: 8
Mod. Situps: 17 (didn't count them all)
    Dips: 8
total reps: 80...goal was at least 75..

    Video

Congrats to all who tried this...really was a little more difficult than I thought.

So I was able to rig something up at a local park since I had timing errors the first time I tried.

Here are some personal stats: 23 years old, 5'10", 210lbs (someone has to represent the 200+ guys)

Pushups: 68...I was actually surprised and thought these looked a little shallow but I think the angle didn't help. It felt deep while doing them and I could feel my chest hit the inside of my thumbs on most reps. I guess thats a plus of having a higher bodyweight in that my range of motion on pushups is less.

Pullups: 22....I didn't count the last half rep obviously

Situps: 28. These sucked and I looked like an uncoordinated meathead. I have never done them before though and just could not get the groove as you could obviously tell. I didn't count any weird weak reps.

Dips: 19...I kind of freaked out because my watch timer stopped since my wrist must have pressed the stop button. I just continued doing as many as I could and figured out the time when I looked later. So I know my last few reps did not count but I started just before 3:55 so I stopped counting my dips at 4:55. I didn't count the reps that I just couldn't lock out at the end either.

So the added grand total is 68+22+28+19=137

ok, because I am a geek, I pulled the results into an excel spreadsheet for a comparison. See attached.

Well done to everyone that entered - some VERY impressive results and videos all round and remember that everyone is at a different level of experiences and bodyweight so that is a big factor.

The final positions appear to be:

    1 The Thrill - 173 reps
2 one rep under -148 reps
    3 ajweins - 137 reps

However... I want to go through all of the videos and check the form, so these are not final, confirmed placings yet so watch this space

Hah, well I just did it and got like 85 reps, that SUCKS.

For me the capacity/endurance wasn't so much an issue, just pure strength.

    Arrgh, video up soon.

I'm gonna do this in 2 months time and make sure I get over 100.

    Daniel, you are a wuss!

I think Koyongi (did I get the name right?) deserves something for being one badass woman! Wow! Hers was the most impressive video to me.
