    Sweet, I think it's working...

I did my 3rd upper body HCT-12 session this morning.
My 6RM on bench improved by 5lbs.
My 6RM on weighted dips went up by 10lbs.

Nice! I've been amazed at how I'll be at the same weight for a week or two, and then all of the sudden I'll blast through my previous 6RM. I really like the "autoregulation" idea.

I've had to substitute the Hip Sled for Squats, and Rack Pulls for Dead Lifts. On the hip sled, I keep my feet very high on the platform so that it doesn't overdo my quads. So far, no adverse effects. It does, however, mean a lot more weight on both movements.

Bosch, what other programs have you done and how does HCT compare in terms of duration, intensity, and muscle soreness? I'm interested to see what people think of this program...

I did WBB 1.1 starting in January. I gained about 12 pounds with it. (I could have gained more, but I had some knee issues develop.)

HCT 12 (In my not-so-experienced opinion) has me lifting both more volume and heavier than with WBB 1.1. It does take me a bit longer to do the workouts, about 10-15 min longer than with WBB 1.1, and that's because I'm doing.... About 4 sets before getting to the 6-2-2-2 set. Muscle soreness isn't really a factor.

I'm in the same boat.. second week of HCT-12 and I've passed weights that I've been stuck on literally for like 3-4 months. Feeling strong as hell. Must be those cluster sets!

Awesome to hear guys, we're really pleased everyone is getting on great with the routine.

As soon as I finish this cut, I'm hopping on this bad boy too.

I was in the test group and I can safely say I had increases each week in at least half of my exercises. Some of the bigger lifts would average out at an increase of 5-10 pounds over 2 weeks, and that's nothing to ignore. I had better strength gains on this routine than any other I have tried. I typically get little muscle soreness but by the end of every workout I was soaked with sweat and felt great.

    So far no change

I finished my 3rd upper body session today and haven't seen any real increase yet. On a side note I've cycled off my preworkout supplements for now but will start back up after the deload sessions. But I feel like that is resulting in the lack of energy holding me back.

It's only been about three weeks for me. Still way too early to tell.
