The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Hi all, check out my routine

I've been lifting on and off for years mainly off though.
For the last 4 months I've stopped drinking 4 litres of wine a day. Gains have really improved.
I can't squat for now because of back pain. So I use a hip belt.
My best lifts this cycle are
    Squat: 170kg
Trap bar deadlift (low handleds) 225kg
    Bench 120kg
    Military press 87.5kg

The best gains I ever made were on the bench press, I was using the Sheiko routine. On it my best bench went up 12.5kg in 6 weeks.

I gave Rippletoe's books a read and learnt a lot.
I also now realise that I'm a beginner and should train like one.
I feel that I'm a fairly easy gainer. I did Sheiko and added dips and cleans and presses an gained really fast.

I'm after strength and size but mostly strength.

My diet and sleep are spot on so I've got these bases covered.

Anyway here's the routine, tell me what you think.

    Monday:
    Hip belt squats 1x20
    Bench press 3x5
    Dips 3x5
    Pull Ups 3x5
    Barbell rows 3x5
    Hammer curls 3x5

    Wednesday
    Trap bar deadlifts 1x5
    Dumbbell Press 3x5

    Friday:
    Hip belt squats 1x20
    Bench press 3x5
    Military press 3x5
    Barbell rows 3x5
    Pull ups 3x5
    Barbell curls 3x5
