OK, now I KNOW it's working...

    Today is May 26.

And in THIS thread: I am pleased to report to you that I have added yet another 10lbs to my 6RM, for a total of 15 lbs since I began HCT-12 about 2 weeks ago. 15 pounds in two weeks! That ain't chump change, friends and neighbors. That's a jump.

Furthermore, I added 5 pounds to my weighted pull ups, and 5 pounds to my OHP tonight as well. I don't mean to sound like a shill, or the leper that Jesus cured or something, but.... This stuff works. Thank you, Daniel Roberts.

    That's great.

I'm in my second week right now and I feel like I've got the hang of it so I'm ready for some gains. Like you I have a very stubborn bench and if this works then I'll shout it from the mountain!

Oh, and I know it sounds like I am shilling, but get some RESULTS from AtLarge to go with that program and you will be VERY glad you did.

The order was placed Tuesday night, Chris.

Nice progress Bosch232. Could you give us an idea of how you are auto-regulating your bench press?

I'm nowhere near as big and strong as quite a few of the members on here (and I'm 43). But I'll offer up what I've documented right out of my log book. As of this morning, I've done 5 upper body workouts on HCT 12. (I'm only typing out bench, not the whole workout from each day.)

    May 16
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    175 x 6
    195 x 6 +2 +2 +2

    May 19
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    155 x 6
    185 x 6
    195 x 6 +2 +2 +2

    May 22
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    170 x 6
190 x 6 (feeling good on this one)
    200 x 6 +2 +2 +2

    May 26
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    185 x 6
205 x 6 (Feeling good on this one, got bold and added ten pounds for the next set)
    210 x 6 +2 +2 +2

    This morning
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    185 x 6
    200 x 6
210 x 6 +2 +2 +2 (Away from home for the holiday weekend, in Denver at a high altitude gym, so maybe another 5 lbs next time? We'll see this next week.)

Someday I'd like to hit 225 x 6, that's kind of a goal for me.

Well... Ndomakong Suh benched 225 thirty one times in the NFL combine...! and maxes 470 lbs.

    So if I can get 225 x 6, I guess I'll settle for that.

Yeah, that ain't gonna be me anytime soon.

But he seems like a hell of a nice guy. I have a young nephew who has childhood leukemia, and was allowed to attend a closed practice last year. And Suh was gracious enough to spend quite a bit of time talking with my nephew after their practice.

I hope the fame and fortune from the NFL doesn't ruin that.

    Back on-topic...

    Today's Bench back home:
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    185 x 6
    205 x 6
    215 x 6 +2 +2 +2

That's 20 lbs in six workouts.

Nicky: If I get that goal of 225 x 6 by July 4th, I'm sending you a Huskers shirt down there in Gator/Seminole country.

You gotta wear it (at least once) and post a photo though.

Another thing: Small apology to WBB. It wasn't my intention that this post turn into a training journal, but... I keep making PR's.
