i've been getting some decent gains on the SS routine. is it pretty standard to be able to squat your own bodyweight in OH fashion? Or is it a pretty good goal? i know u have to have monster shoulder muscles (which i dont have) just a newb question
ty for reading.
I think that would be pretty impressive. OH Pressing your own weight is a great accomplishment by itself. So being able to hold that over your head while squatting would be really impressive.
Height: 6'4 - Weight: 235 lbs - Age: 31
DL: 530 x 1
Squat: 355 x 1
Bench: 350 x 1
I'd imagine not many lifters can OH squat their own bodyweight. OH squat is a very difficult lift, requires great strength, besides not many people train for that lift.
A bodyweight overhead squat is a great accomplishment.
If you haven't OH squatted before, start with just the bar.
