The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I'm definitely impressed with those recent squat #'s. Good increases for you for sure. Keep hitting those hard. How did the belt feel on those?

scott, it was raw. i opted not to belt up because i have messed up my ribs recently. im going to try to experiment with wearing it lower... but on deads.. not sure how well that will work as i have difficulty reaching the bar. not sure if im going for a 1RM PR on deads anyway this week

Hate your squats. I'll jizz my pants when I hit 300 for a single rep. Pics to follow.

Edit: pics of the jizzstain, not the squat.

Sometimes you won't know until you get there. I say aim for it, but make sure you're feeling it tomorrow if you want to get it. I think DL's are one exercise where I can really aim for a higher weight and actually get it.

That was some strong ass pressing this morning. Do you ever lift in the evenings? I am always good for a few more pounds in the evening. Have you ever pulled 405 before? I would say see how your warm ups feel and take it from that point. Make sure to grab a video of it also!

Damn dude, your quad on your left leg looks like it's about to rip your friggin shorts. Nice pull too. It didn't look that hitched to me, but I'm no judge either!

All you crazy bastards lifting at 4 am in the morning too....crazy people I'm telling ya!
