The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Man Pit Complete

Back in April my house and work shop sustained substantial damage from either a small tornado or a microburst. Today, I finally put the finishing touches on getting my man pit back in order. Rather than build it back to the way it was, I tried to upgrade the flooring, a/c and heat and fans to make it a better place for me to work out. I am attaching some pictures of the finished product because I am just happy it is done and I love the solitude of my own gym. I now have about 900 pounds of weight, two bars, a weight bench, squat rack and power tower so I have no reason to go anywhere else if I don't want to.

Is that chalk dust all over the ceiling fans?

You know it's a man cave when you see duct tape on the office chair...nice touch.

Thanks. No that isn't chalk dust on the fans. I used a sprayer to paint the room and had the fans going at the same time (wasn't thinking). It's over spray from painting. Didn't see the point in cleaning it off since the fans are pretty much on all the time. The duct tape on the chair is due to a cat that liked to use the chair as a scratching post when it was in the house. That is why the office chair has now been relegated to the man pit.
