my bro-in-law and i are preparing for our first bench meet in 8 weeks. Its gonna be on the beach
He is trying for the wa state record(440lb) raw. Shooting for around 515 or so as his goal. ~500 right now.
Any tips for these last 2 months? Thanks guys!

Since you have 8 weeks I would add in some boards that way your shoulders are not taking a beating. And stick with the weight that is your goal dont try to be a super hero and raw 4brd press 990lbs haha. Stick with what your goal is for the comp and continue to work at it for the 8 weeks. About two weeks out I would attempt your opener and what you feel would be your second att. One week out do it agian just getting comfortable using the commands and then take the last week off to rest. Oh ya make sure you kick butt and have fun. Good luck
