    home gym, help!!!

was wondering anyone have the experience with this Weider Platinum Plus Home Gym? i have a great weight-losing plan. i wanna lose weight in a very short of period say i month. plus, i am tired of
outdoor sports. so, a decent home gym is essential. kinda love this stuff. but i am not sure is it easy
to use. What do you folks think? Any better options for around the same money or less?
    Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't bother buying that piece of equipment. You would be far better served with an Olympic weight set. With the station, you are limited by the amount of exercises you can do, the amount of weight you can lift, and the plane of movement is locked in place. The barbell will give you an endless assortment of exercises you can do, you aren't locked into one plane of movement, your stabilizer muscles will get stronger and make you stronger over-all, and buying more weight for it is cheap. The barbell is much, much more versatile...and much, much CHEAPER.

If you were to add a power cage and a bench, you would have enough equipment to build yourself up to any level you are capable of...

I was not able to open up that link; what is your price range?

As Off Road suggested you would be better off with free weights as they are more versatile and in many cases less expensive.
