    Week off

    Apologies if this has been asked before but I was unable to find it in the search.

    I know a week off every 8-10 weeks is good and allows for full recovery etc. I have nearly finished my 9th week of HCT-12 (2 cycles and 1 deload), and am wondering if it would be better to take a week off instead of the deload week? Or is it designed that you could basically indefinately do the cycles with a deload every 5th week?

    Life's going to throw you the odd enforced week off anyway - illness, vacation abroad, whatever, so the deloads should be sufficient to mitigate any fatigue. So 'no', no weeks off just deload.

    Then again, recovery is a personal thing, so it's your call.
