    Powerlifting meets vs Bodybuilding Shows

After attending two bodybuilding shows in the last few weeks I just confirmed more of the reasons I like powerlifting the most. In powerlifting if you lift a certain amount of weight you win. In bodybuilding a panel votes on who is the best. Sometimes I wonder just what are the judges looking at. I know how controversial these shows can be and I guess that is the bad part.

And BB shows are just men in underwear wearing brown paint and showing their muscles to other men.

I admire bodybuilders for their intense discipline when it comes to diet. With that being said, the judging of the sport confuses the shiz out of me and I'd never want to do a show.

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
