The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Some video from my NAS Strongman competition July 17, 2010

Some video from the NAS strongman competition July 17, 2010 in Longmont, Colorado. 225 pound per hand farmers walk 80 feet in 13 seconds. I finished the tire flip, sled drag, 200 pound keg carry medley, and I got all 5 atlas stones. I'm pretty happy with how I did.

    Nice job at the contest.

Did you not have tacky for the stones? It looked like the first two were slipping a bit.

    Thanks.

I had tacky, too much tacky. It was so hot that the tacky was really thin/liquidy and I put on more than I normally do because it was easy to. It didn't help, it made the first two stones really slippery until some of it wore off ( i didn't know if I could wipe my hands on the stones or platform so I didn't. ).

I believe the LW open guys had the same stones as me, and I don't believe any got them all. For the open heavy weight guys they shifted the stones down and added one that I believe was about 25 pounds heavier. ( I could be remembering all of this wrong, it was HOT and now it's all kind of fuzzy. ) Only one guy got all 5. I know without a doubt I would have gotten 4 ( the 4 that I did ) and I'm betting I would have gotten the one that was heavier too.
