    Would this work?

I just joined today, seeing the whole hct program yesterday. (Im 18 weigh about 210-215 and 6 ft. lifting for a about a year so a real newbe and trying to see real results). It looks real legit and read through all and especially liked how everything was in a set routine. Seems i switch up a lot and not getting the results i would like or what i am capable of. What i was wondering is i really liked the whole hct program and the 30 lbs in 30 days on bench. So i was wondering if yo were to do the a-b-a-b-a 5 days with the weekend off and the (a) being the 30lbs in 30 days rotine. if not could you help me set out a routine with the hct program. with a 1rm flat bench of about 240-250. and i could give detail about whatever else needed.

thank you id appreciate all the help

I would save the 30 lbs in 30 days routine for when you actually need it. There is no way you've maxed out your potential in just a year.

Just ramp up to your top weight for 6 reps by making 20-30 lb jumps. After you do the 6 at your top weight, rest about 20-30 seconds and do 2 more reps. Rest 20-30 seconds, do 2 more reps. Rest 20-30 seconds again and do your final 2 reps.

If your 1RM for flat bench is 240-250, then your 6RM is probably around 210, so your workout should look something like this:

    115X6
    Rest 1-2 minutes
    135X6
    Rest 1-2 minutes
    165X6
    Rest 1-2 minutes
    185X6
    Rest 1-2 minutes
    210X6
    Rest 20-30 seconds
    210X2
    Rest 20-30 seconds
    210X2
    Rest 20-30 seconds
    210X2

Then your done with bench. Now move onto the next exercise, doing the same thing. And to answer your other question, yes you do the clusters for each exercise after you hit your top weight for 6 reps for that exercise. I like to do 4 ramp up sets with my 5th set being my heaviest, but you can do 3 or 5 ramp sets, or whatever is comfortable.

Sorry if I was overly thorough, just wanted to make sure you got it.
