What are some rules of thumb on how hard to go on the volume day and the recovery day when using Texas Method programming?

My guess is that on the volume day, if you're doing straight weight across all sets that the final set should be an RPE of 8 (so basically 2 in the tank) on the final set and that on recovery day it should be an RPE-7 or an easy 8 (3 to 4 reps left).

Is that accurate?
