So I don't do extra ab work, cause I feel pretty worked after my routine (similar to SS, but with front squats). And I've got a layer of fat that I've got to get rid of before I see any abs (in the 6 pack sense). But I can't tell from his article, with the right body fat, will no extra ab work allow for a 6 pack or just a solid core?

Up your squat/deadlift.... Youll Speed up your metabolism and shred your stomach. All my friends i workout with go oh man u gotta work your abs why dont you do ab stuff? I lift up my shirt and people cant believe i dont do ab stuff... Then i run for the bar. Lets just say abs are nothing more than removing the layers of cushion from them.

No. Upping your squat and deadlifting will do nothing to "shred your stomach". That's diet.
