Ok guys.. I'm about to start westside powerlifting training and have a few chest questions.
I have a large chest naturaly (simply my body form) and don't want to add any mass to my chest. Rather I'm looking for strength and density.
I know that rep counts under 5 reps are primarily for strength.
Westside uses 1-3 reps, so I'm hoping that my chest mass won't increase any or maybe just a little.. I have good symmetry and decent size for my frame, but don't want too big a chest... will I be ok?
Also, while I'm at it> Is the chest primarily fast or slow switch fibers? Would high rep pushups help my situation (seeking strength and density that is with minimal mass), such as 40-70 pushups?
