I cook my oats and put them in a bowl and THEN pour some of an already mixed protein shake into the bowl with the cooked oats. I've tried cooking the powder right in but it turns to a clumpy mess.

....why not just have the protein separately?

Tastes like hell when you cook it together.

I made oatmeal with some protein powder.
It was like elmer's glue mixed with oatmeal...

It's just way easier to slam a shake down and eat the oatmeal separately.

BTW it's called oatmeal- O-A-T-M-E-A-L, what is this? A children's storybook?

    It's an English thing.

They use lots of funny words depending on where in England they are. "Oi, look at the wee lorry going 'round the roundabout, pip pip cheerio eh".

    Silly.

That doesn't seem very cowboy. I thought the English Stereotype of Americans was a loud, foul-mouthed, crass Texan with guns. Lol.
