    Today was a nice awakening of what NEVER to do again (and that's be a lame fat ass and do nothing). Let's just call it extended rehab. /rollseyes.

    Question: So im doing ME SQ/DL, ME Bench, DE SQ/DL, DE Bench MTRF...If I ME deadlifted today, should I DE SQ or DL this week?

    Well if you pulled heavy today, it would make more sense to squat light this week. Then squat heavy and pull light next week. No matter if they are the same or different days.

    BTW, it usually is a lot easier to make gains on both benching and squat/deadlift, when you bench the day before squatting or pulling instead of the other way around. Heavy benching usually suffers the day following a heavy squat/deadlift day. Or you could also do one heavy day 3-4 days apart from the other heavy day.

    April: I tend to avoid mondays as bench day as I train at a university gym...aka...Monday is national bench press day for everyone. Perhaps I could just light bench on T and heavy on F.

    Hayden Yeah, it definitely felt good, but mixed emotions for sure not being able to hit what I used to. It's expected, but, sad nevertheless. That's what I get.

    Ok that's one of the options I meant. Either bench first if you do two heavy days in a row or split it up like you say here where a heavy day follows a light day or a light day follows a heavy day.

    I've missed box jumps, I forgot how much they help with squatting (especially when I land, I tend to land at hole ROM...helps with mobility). 275 felt shaky the first rep but quickened on the others. A lot of muscle memory coming back here. Here we go.
