I have been reading this forum for a while now. I figured I would start a log on here to keep up with my workouts. I've been lifting for quite a few years now. I am currently competing in Strongman as a LW. My next comp is on Nov. 13th so my training will be geared toward that comp. Events are Press Medley, Sand Bag Carry, Farmer's Hold, Max Rep 15in deadlift, and stones. I've got a little shoulder injury going on right now so my pressing strength is down quite a bit. I'm not necessarily doing HCT, but I have been using some of the principles. I like it a lot so far. I'm doing a little BB style training here and there.
25, 5'9, 240.
Squats- Just done as a warm up...I've squatted 4x in the past week.
All reps were from a dead stop and felt easy, but I thought I was going to see my breakfast for about 15 min. afterwards. I had planned on some light oly lifting after that, but the nausea didn't let it happen
Calf Raises- I'm on a mission to get rid of my tiny calves!
Lots of standing and seated calf raises.

First time benching in quite a while today. Just decided to do some easy triples to see how the shoulder felt. It went decent. It usually takes me a few weeks to get the groove back.
Incline Pulldown machine
Clean and Strict Press- 1 clean
45x10/135x6/155x6/185x5/205x3...did these in Nike Shox and it felt like I was on a swiss ball.

Pressing is starting to feel back to normal. I'm ready to start putting up some weight again.

Very sore today for some reason. My pecs kept trying to cramp with the log presses. Didn't really plan on lifting today, but I am going fishing in the morning so I decided to get a little workout in.
Lots of foam rolling, stretching, bike riding
Add Short Strong Band +around 240-250 at the top
410x1 5#PR with these bands. Felt pretty smooth.
Removed bands and standing on 25's
Glad to get a PR on the pulls today. I'll take 5# where I can get it. My lockout is feeling good and strong these days, but I'm slow off the floor. I'll add in some snatch grip pulls. Those usually do the trick.

Felt pretty weak today. I am going to focus on getting my bench back to decent level for a while. I want to do a Raw (with wraps, preferably) PL meet soon. I'd like to break 1500@242 with wraps. Just gotta find someone to bench with to I can have a spotter.

up to 455x1 double overhand. Just playin around with some new blocks that I built.
Finals this week so my workouts are very short.
I really suck at updating this thing. Oh well. I have been doing a lot of highland games throwing lately.
Very easy reps on the 550. PR is 5 here, but I held back. I am going to go for 565x5 the next time I pull.

Good workout today. I have been ridiculously tired the past few days. I thought I was getting sick, but I seem to be better this evening. Maybe, I just needed some deadlifts.
