Proper Bench Press Grip For Wrists

How should you properly grip the bench press with your wrists? And do you wrap your thumb around the bar?

Yes, you should wrap your thumb around the bar. Also, hold the bar closer to the heel of your palms, rather than your knuckles. In addition, you should try to prevent your wrists from bending back (ideally, your wrist/hand should be in line with your forearm, but it's okay if it bends back somewhat when your pushing heavier weight).
