    My raw meet results

    Well it is finally over.
    Was feeling pretty good.

    Squat opener: 755
They had a squat command, that I of course didn't ****in' wait for. (remember, 3 year layoff, lol)
    red lights.

    Took it again. Good lift

Didn't feel like taking a 3rd, already looking forward to the after party LOL

Bench, the suprise of the day. i gave had some pretty irritating shoulder issues lately, as well as a torn pec and tricep, so I was not looking to do ANYTHING here.

My brother from another mother, Jeff McVicar showed up to help, and got me jammed into a great bench set-up.
Opener 325 (this was as far as I expected this to go) flew up

    365 , again, flew up

    407. somedamthing, flew up.
i actually think I could have posted a 500, but I had run out of attempts.

    Deadlift.

Cramping like hell, and of course there is that whole after party thing, also going to wacth UFC

    Opened with 600, easy.

10 min. later rolling on floor with wicked ab cramp, done for the day

    1st place 308 raw open

1st place 308 raw masters (40-44) turned 42 last week

    Still recovering from after party.

Lots of fun at this meet. Just like a big family reunion.

Now to get back in some gear and start over.

    Yeah, 308. Just barely.
I could have made the 275's but I had not done a meet at 308 yet. Done 220,242,and 275, 308 was just for ****s and gigs. lol

I left a buch of weight on the platform, but hell it was really just for fun anyway, gonna start training equiped again in about a week.
Just waiting for my gear to get finished and shipped.

Awesome lifting Brian! Youtube vids are smokin! Hope to meet you someday and bend some iron at Big Chris's gym with you and the guys. He mentioned you may hit the steel with them sometimes. I am out of NC and travel up that way when I can. Best wishes with your training!

    Thanks everyone!
I haven't seen the rankings yet, too damn poor to have a computer at home, lol Gotta hijack the on at work.

My gear fron Rudy at OVERKILL is starting to arrive. Can't wait to get geared up and back to my "normal" training program.
Looking to do the SPF Ironman in March.

    Change of plans.

Found out that since I have been out of the loop for so long, I do not have a qualifying total to lift at the Ironman in March. So I will be doing another "local" SPF meet on March 12, 2011, full gear, to establish a big total for future meets.
Just as well, this meet is MUCH closer to home.
It will be held at Brute Strength Gym in Norfolk, Va. Same as this past meet.

    Thanks!

Would have been much better had I taken all of my attempts and been a little more aggressive on my bench attempts.
