    Thanks guys!

Will be commencing training again from Monday - been busy this week putting the final part of the book up.

The first part of the book - The Fall to Power: Part One - is available to download for free this weekend, sort of a teaser to get people interested in the rest of the book.

It's available to download from here: http://www.amazon.com/The-Fall-Power...er%3A+part+one

Ranked #17 on the Amazon.co.uk Contemporary Fantasy top 100 so far this weekend.

Chuffed with that, considering I'm an unknown and this is my first novel.

Just hoping people start to leave reviews on Amazon, as that's what really bumps a novel's visibility.

Let's all go leave reviews lol. Then when you're a best selling author I expect to see a check in the mail for that idea.

    Easing Back in With Squats...

    Squats:

    10x40(88)
    10x60(132)
    5x80(176)
    3x100(220)
    1x120(265)
    1x140(308)

    Reverse Hypers:

    10xbar
    10x10(22)
    10x20(44)

    Ab Twists /w barbell:

    10x15(33)
    10x25(55)
    10x35(77)

    Situps:

    20
    20

    ----------
    Summary:

Two weeks of no training of any kind, so went in expecting the worst, but felt good.

Only limiting factor was stiffness from not training; strength still seemed to be okay.

Stopped at 140kg because 1) going heavier on first session back would be stupid and b) lower back was a little stiff.

    Bench tomorrow.

    Cheers Kong!

And yeah, Pullum sports is where I'm going!

Gonna be moving house (again) in about a month, so will sort myself out a load of extra equipment then. Otherwise it's simply more stuff to move.

    Benching

    Bench:

    10xbar
    10xbar
    10x40(88)
    5x60(132)
    3x80(176)
    3x90(198)

    Tri PD:

    10x30(66)
    10x40(88)
    10x50(110)
    0x70(154) - the cable broke!!

Cable Curls (on different machine, lol):

    10x20(44)
    10x30(66)
    10x40(88)
    10x50(110)

    Lat Pulldown:

    10x40(88)
    10x50(110)
    10x60(132)

    ----------
    Summary:

Apart from the cable machine breaking (which was actually quite funny) it was a really good session.

Lost very little, if any, bench strength from the fortnight off. Felt like I could have got to 5 reps with 90kg, or maybe a single at 100 again.

Have serious DOMS in my lower back from squatting yesterday though...

Cardio today, first in over a fortnight.

    Two timed miles.

    1st Mile: 12:14
    2nd Mile: 11:22

Killed me off. Had to be sick in the bushes after the first mile.

Had no idea that I'd lose my fitness so quickly. Though I've been told it returns very quickly too.

    Light Deadlifts

    Deadlifts:

    10x40(88)
    10x60(132)
    5x100(220)
    3x120(265)
    3x140(308)

    BB Rows:

    10x60(132)
    10x60(132)
    10x60(132)

    Abs:

    Situps 3x20
    Ab twists /w BB: 10x25(55) 10x35(77)

    Reverse Hyper:

    10xbar
    10x15(33)
    10x30(66)

    ----------
    Summary:

Back has been aching me all week - been sitting at laptop too much promoting book on websites etc. So I knew not to push it today. 140kg felt reasonably heavy, so left it at that. Decent enough for first day back.

Always feel a bit weird doing the Rows. I do Lat Pulldowns on Wednesdays as part of Bench session, then BB Rows two days later on Dead day.

Feels like they should be further apart.

Probably better to throw in the pulldowns with the back work and be done with it, doing fine regardless...same with the running, fitness and conditioning level will be off the chain from here on out.

Good thing with the bench staying strong. Is the book a side project or main work focus currently man?

Cheers bud. And I don't know atm; it kind of depends how well it takes off. I've got a website that will be going live the next week or so. All the feedback I've had so far says the book is good, so it's just a case of promoting it.

However, I am starting a new college course in two weeks' time, so I'm gonna be careful not to let the book interfere with that.
