Alex is going to start me on a new program soon - Westside, with some added cardio.
Will be starting it in the next three weeks or so.
Expect PRs to be smashed.
Yeah cardio probably has an influence. Especially combined with less food! Hope it comes right man, at least your still getting the work in bro
BB Hip Thrusts:
Just what I needed to cheer myself up with!
Wrist hurt from 140kg onwards, but fought through it. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt on the last pull, 180kg. I think I might be able to work around it by fiddling with my setup, grip width etc, just to try to put less stress on it.
Loads of ibuprofen helps, too.
The next few weeks, whilst sorting out my mum's estate/selling the house/moving to a new place (again), I'm just going to be in cruise mode at the gym. I'm going to go in, have some fun, keep the blood pumping and see what comes.
Once I'm settled into the new place (hopefully 3/4 weeks), Alex is starting me on Westside (or a variation there of). He's also getting me to find a Powerlifting Meet and a Race, both about six months away, that we can train for.
I'll be able to commit to it fully, I'll have finances to stuff my face and buy extra gear (bands etc) and, hopefully, we'll be seeing huge PRs before Christmas.
In the mean time, considering I've not deadlifted in a few weeks, I'm happy with a 4pps lift out of nowhere.

Another session where I came away feeling great!
Working up with singles rather than lots of reps is really agreeing with me, I feel.
Was in two minds about whether to go for the 150 or not, but I did. Between that and the 180kg DL the other day, some of the heaviest weight I've lifted in weeks. Very pleased.
Workout is awesome, definitely on point!!
Good to be getting these great sessions in man. Freestyling for the next few busy weeks may just be a pleasant change for you in the gym an freshen things up.
