Great deadlifts OR. Lowering the weights and building back up was a great idea.

Diet looks very solid, i just cant imagine eating that much oatmeal though .

    1 scoop of Results

    Lunch
3.5 oz chicken (one breast cuttlet)

    Pre Workout
    50 g protein powder

    Post workout:
    50 g protein powder
    8 oz milk

    Dinner
    3 oz lean steak
3.5 oz chicken (one breast cuttlet)
    12 oz potato
1.5 cups brown rice (dry measure)

    Dessert
    50 g protein powder
    8 oz milk
    1.5 cups oatmeal (dry measure)

For those counting, it's 3 cups of oatmeal and 3 cups of brown rice, not to mention the 200 grams of protein powder. I'm going to be "clogged up" for days
OR, I would put your results as a pre or post workout instead. The dextrose is good around workout time. You already have enough carbs in the morning with the 1.5 cups of oatmeal and milk.

Ya, hitting the 475 lbs was a big deal, I just need to ramp up a bit before I bust out a new PR. Getting old has its disadvantages.

No, I will tire of the oatmeal after a while I'm sure.

Great tip, I will make that adjustment.

I will obviously rework the menu a bit now that I've had a chance to run all the different days.

    .
Before you give up on it, try the blender method. Oatmeal is so cheap not to be using it as a staple of the diet.

I grind the oatmeal up into powder in the blender, then add the water/protein. 1.5 cups is still a bit "oatmealy" but it is a million times easier drinking it down than eating it down.

You don't even taste it, you just feel the texture. Dieting right costs a lot of money, save where you can!!!

I refuse to give up, plus there's no way I'm drinking 2 cups of oats...ouch, I'd explode!

    Everything is getting easier.

I think I have the pins set too low on the 1/2 press, I'm only at eye level. That's a full press for most people - Haha
But who cares, I can definitely feel my triceps getting worked hard.

Both the chins and dips are looking very strong. What are your first thoughts on the diet now that have done the different days.

The guns are killing me. I kept tossing and turning all night because they would stiffen up while I slept. I need to make that PM workout a little earlier so I can use my arms a little more before I go to bed. Get some of that crap out of my system first. Thanks for checking in guys, much appreciated and inspirational for me.

Now that I've run all the days (high/medium/low) I can go back through and make adjustments to them. I noticed that some meals need to be split up a little more because they left me feeling completely bloated, while others left me feeling a little hungry so I can borrow some food from the other meals. The other thing I've noticed is that it sure seems like a lot of food for a cut diet. I know it's a gaining diet set up for lean gains, so I used a lighter bodyweight as my goal so it would work out as a deficit. I'll have to keep a close eye on the scale to make sure I did the calculations correctly. I'm using Daniel Roberts' idea of eating for your goal weight, which is 220 lbs. But that's one nice thing about this eating plan, it is highly adjustable.

I felt the same way OR...seemed like a lot of food for a weight loss diet. I think thats the beauty of it though.

I have lost 2 pounds on it so far, so its definitely doing something. It is just going to be a slow loss compared to more traditional diets but thats a good thing.
