    Great workouts recently OR, major kudos on keeping to the diet, it's obviously working well. The 170x7 on the press amazes me man, crazy strength! Also pretty cool that you added size to the arms while cutting, really does show that the diet is effective. Can't wait for a pic too haha

    Just seen the conditioning session now too, solid stuff!

    Thanks guys. The conditioning with the sled is my absolute favorite. It is really a lot of fun and before you know it you've got a lot of pulls done. It gets you sweating, breathing hard, and really works the legs. The lighter weights allow you to take long strides and target the hamstrings. The heavier weights make you take short steps, lean into it, and target the quads. If you really want to torture yourself, pull it backwards; that really hits the quads hard.

    The conditioning with the sled is my absolute favorite.

    Same here, I would much rather do sled work or push a prowler then get on a treadmill.

    I feel the sled pulling love-fest going on in here
    My favorite is when my kids pull it with me. We take turns (the three of us); the kids pull it light and then ride on it when I pull it. We all have a great time with it.

    Good to see you're still sticking to the cutting and conditioning!

    How's it coming along? You starting to feel addicted to the conditioning yet? I got bit by the conditioning bug just like I got bit by the strength bug years ago! It's a pretty good bug to get bit by in all honesty...

    Killer presses too...as always!

    Thanks Bri. I'm a pretty lazy SOB by nature, so I have to really motivate myself to get out there and do the conditioning. Once I'm out there and doing it, then it's game-on and I enjoy it.

    Update..

    Weight = 225.6 lbs
    Arms = 17-3/16 inches

    Weight is down one lb at the week's half way point. I switched the high carb days around to match my training schedule which is why I'm low on a Wednesday. This is as low of a weight as I got on my last cut and I feel tons better this time around. My lifts aren't crashing and I have good energy throughout the week. The low carb days are getting tougher to handle, but nothing I can't get through.

    Physically, I look much better with abdominal outlines (blurry) of my top rows and less back fat. But that's not the important part. The best part is I feel like I have more energy and feel lighter on my feet. I've dropped two notches on my weight belt

    I think 220 lbs is a perfect goal for this cut and I may dip down just below that so I can say that I legitimately weigh 220 lbs. In other words, I'd like to weigh 220 mid-morning.

    Checkin' out the Juggs...

    Deadlift

    165 lbs x 5
    200 lbs x 5

    250 lbs x 10
    250 lbs x 10
    250 lbs x 10
    250 lbs x 10
    250 lbs x 15

    OH MY GADZ...this kicked my ass!!!

    I just wanted to curl up and hide somewhere when I finished this. Maybe had more reps left in me, in fact I'm sure I did, but I felt like my head was going to explode

    I'll probably do some abdominal work this evening, but for now I'm just trying to get the room to stop spinning.

    Damn good deadlifts OR. 15 reps is a hell of a conditioning set.

    Congrats on feeling so much better, you put the work in and are getting the results.

    Love it! There's something to be said for challenge workouts. You know you've done good work when you're finished. How were your forearms after all that?

    Thanks Drummer, but I used straps I did the first two sets without them and could tell I wasn't going to be able to finish them when I started sweating so much.

    That's one way to look at it...It was brutal.

    My back is a little tender, as I expected it would be. Me and deadlifts just don't get along that well, especially with all that volume. Luckily I kept a close eye on form so I didn't completely destroy it. Things should be fine for bench press on Friday.

    I'm looking for my friend to weld me a sled on top of the prowler he did for my friend. Your post has me itching to sled drag and what not. I wish I didn't have to slit my prowler with my friend. Maybe it's a good thing as I may want to do too much. I love torturing myself. haha

    You're cut is just outright going great. You are going to hit 220 before you know it. Plus the lifts are real solid too. You and mchicia1 are really making the carb-cycling work for you.
