I had ACL reconstructive surgery two months ago and have since packed on a couple of pounds. I am know able to do some cardio on the eliptical and bike and have started to strictly limit my calorie intake. Will it be detrimental the the recovery of my muscles in my leg which have significantly shrunk since the surgery. If so what would be my best plan as far as nutrition and cardio?
yes it will be big time detrimental. I would strongly encourage you to wait until you're absolutely 100%
