The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

This was not a huge year for great action flicks but there were a couple.

Expendables was good not great but good, had that old school action movie vibe which was nice ( Stallone being the director is why ).

While not quite a pure action flick, I loved kick ass so much better than I thought it would be.
Success is achieved by doing a little more than you thought you could, and a lot more than anyone else.

Yeah. Stallone made it is a homage to 80's action scene, which is cool, but I feel ultimately the movie failed to deliver.

Kick-Ass and The Town are probably my two favorites this year.

The action parts of Kick Ass were the best. That little girl was AWESOME!

Other notables were Airbender, Expendables, Clash of the Titans, Iron Man 2, and Resident Evil 4..

I've sat threw tons of movies and the Expendables was a movie I wanted to stop watching half way through. It was garbage there was way to much talking involved and not enough action. I was really pissed cause I thought this was going to be like Rambo (which was 10x better then I thought it would be).

My vote goes to Kick ass. When I saw previews for this movie I thought it was a movie for kids. Then during the previews I noticed it had an R rating and I asked my girl friend about it and we were both stumped as to why a kids movie had an R rating. Whoever setup the previews for this movie just didn't know what they were doing. They made the movie look stupid and I don't remember seeing that girl doing any of the stuff I saw in the movie.
I know I'm not alone on this because so many people have told me this movie was way better then they thought it would be. It's actually the reason I saw it so many people said it to me I told my gf we have to watch this to see whats up.

My next vote goes to Machete easily. It was a great movie (I was passing in and out cause I got no sleep the night before) but I watch over half the movie and it was awesome. Even my gf who didn't want to watch it loved it.

Expendables was a huge disappointment. Stallone's Rambo was a million times better and actually a great action flick IMO. Expendables was a predictable, and cheesy - it was an average made for TV flick.

Surprised no one said Predators - cool spin to the franchise.
    Book of Eli was cool.
    Legion was cool.
    Robin Hood was decent.
    Kick Arse was great.
Clash of the Titans was entertaining.

Either that or Scott Pilgrim. Depending on whether people would consider Scott Pilgrim an action movie or not.

I didn't like Expendables. Completely unrealistic and it was obvious that the blood was CGI. Just me though...

I couldn't tell the blood was CGI in the theater probably because theater screens suck, but I just watched the bluray expendables and it was horribly obvious. I'm at the point now where watching movies is a better experience after they come out on DVD or bluray. Theater screen quality is trash, its all so washed out and too dark (the screen not the room duh)

I enjoyed it because I knew it was going to be like the cheesy 80s and 90s action flicks, I just didn't realize how much computers took over the role of blood in the movie. If anything he should've changed his line where he said 'i just am' and he probably should've just shagged her, and also admitted he was going through a midlife crisis and definitely should've given dolph more screen time but I hope he fixes that with the 2nd installment

I liked book of Eli and Rambo, saw Faster this weekend with the wife and aside from not letting you know what the hell was going in the first five minutes it was VERY intertaining, plot was a little weak and "the Rock" only had about 5 lines but as far as pure thrills it was pretty good, This movie was made on a fraction of the budget as many other action flicks and I liked the grittyness of the film, not a lot of bull**** explosions and stuff just guys getting shot!!!!! Music was a little different at times as well? But worth the trip!

I liked Resident Evil. As many times as they've sequel'd that thing, it still seems to stay fresh. And, the big monster zombie thing was awesome. Reminnded me of Pyramid Head from Silent Hill.

Yea I always like those resident evil movies just because they involve zombies.

I gotta go with Expendables. Followed closely by Kick Ass and Machete. They were both solid. Red was pretty decent too, if you guys haven't seen that. A little watered down, though. I'm tired of these PG-13 action flicks. If you're going to make an action movie, do it right....go for the hardcore R. Sly never lets me down in this department.

If The Town can be considered an action movie, then it wins hands down.

The last robbery scene was some of the most intense stuff I've seen on film. The realism of it all was perfect.

But if we're talking about dumbed down fun action, I go with Kick Ass. I haven't seen the Expendendables yet though.

The Town was great. Thought it would be too much like Heat, but it strayed away from that.

I have really high hopes for the Coen remake of True Grit. The original is a classic.
