What are some difference in your training when prepping for a raw meet rather a geared meet other than wearing a bench shirt as the competition gets closer?

I didn't change a thing actually. Did the same exact training (including getting in a shirt 3 weeks ago) as the rest of my team at Westside

Awesome lifting. Storng group of guys... As for 550... Very clean and strong. This is a big bench. Just a hair away from being closer to 600 then 500. Very cool for you travis! I gotta start doing speed work LOL

your grip is narrower , why ? you always said , the widest grip is the best , raw too .
Nothing more impressive than a huge raw bench. Nice.
Did you do close grip floor presses for reps this cycle? What is close grip on these, thumbs from the smooth or pinky on the rings?
On DE day I did sometimes.
Grip varied from index on the smooth to half thumbs from the smooth. Close grip floor press is a great way to increase tricep strength.
