The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Some good DVD movies to watch?

I'm looking at my lame netflix queue and wanted to add more movies to it. To give a general idea of my taste, the better movies I can think off the top of my head are (in no particular order): Salt, X-men, Punisher, Spiderman, Hulk, Bad Boys II, Transformers, SWAT, Dark Knight, Fast and Furious, Iron Man, Wanted, The Expendables, Kick Ass, Hitch, The Departed, Green Zone, The Hurt Locker, Body of Lies, Taken, Crash, The Proposal, The Bourne Supremacy.
Name some movies so I can search it and add it to my netflix account!

Haha, I thought that it was a pretty funny movie.

Perhaps not the best one to watch if you are just hanging out alone - but if you have a girlfriend/fiance/wife then it is a good choice.

Where did those three come from? You have a ton of guy movies, and then a drama and two chick flicks, so random.

Call me a bitch if you want, but "The Time Traveler's Wife" is a very good film if you ask me. Very, very sad.

lol I'll agree with you that "The Time Traveler's Wife" was way better then I thought it would be. Love stories these days tend to be very very predictable. This one was at least different.

The only movies I don't see here that our very good is:

Unthinkable - staring samuel L jackson. It's basically about Jackson going to extreme measures to find the location of the nuclear bombs planted throughout America.

The Road - Post apocalyptic world. Involves a Dad and his son trying to survive in this world. BilltheButcher actually pointed this one out to me in some other thread.

City of Ember - Another great movie I think someone on these boards also pointed this one out to me. Humans are living underground but the world their ancestors built for them is quickly running out of power.

All three of those are really good movies that I enjoyed .

Forgot to add Buried with Ryan Renolds not sure if this one is out on DVD or not yet (I download my movies) but if it is check it out. I would also not recommend " The lovely bones" horrible movie.

Some good ones in here. The departed and no country for old men are the two stand outs ones I'd reccomend from this list. I was just going through a couple boxes of dvds I've had in the closet since I last moved and realized I have an unopened copy of mystic river I bought but never got around to watching. Why did you say "supposed to be good".

I won't call you a bitch for watching the time travelers wife. Seabiscuit though? bitch.

Heres a couple that are great that have not been mentioned, and not quite pure action movies as you have posted all of these have guns and people dying mixed with some comedy.

Lucky number slevin ( Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley nuff said )

Kiss kiss bang bang ( Robert Downey Jr is great in this )

The Game ( older movie but great plot twist and ending )
Success is achieved by doing a little more than you thought you could, and a lot more than anyone else.

Weeds was a great show when it started until season 3 I think it was. That show is the definition of "jumping the shark". I cant ever think of a TV show that was so great at the beginning and got so bad that I couldn't even stand to watch it anymore.

On another note I just started Breaking Bad last night and it's awesome AMC has got some really great shows. My girl friend wants to check out Mad men next.
