One thing powerlifting is not good for

Powerlifting is not good for volleyball. I played with 2 of my bosses and some other people today and I totally sucked. My arms are too heavy to spike correctly anymore...

That's all I wanted to say.

OH great! There went my hopes of being a pro beach volleyball player. At 5"8" and 225 I really thought I could play if my bench was over 600

Hate to be 'that guy' but maybe you suck at volleyball because you don't practice much and not because you powerlift. I would think that squatting more would let you jump higher and powerlifting would help with motor control. Maybe you should play more volleyball for GPP...

I think you're that guy. Besides, powerlifters don't belong on the volleyball court; they belong at the all you can eat buffet.

HomeYield - you saw the video on EliteFTS? Thanks for rubbing it in.

BTW - I may be fat, but I can still dunk a basketball. It's a Larry Bird style dunk, but a dunk nonetheless!

So who knows what BUFFET stands for?

That's funny, I played volleyball in the pool with one of those beach balls last night and the big arms didn't hinder me at all.

Douglas - I'm 6'4" about 300lbs. Before I started lifting I played Arena Football and I played in college with Jim Wendler. So, there was a time in my life when I was fast and athletic and attractive to women.

I've come to grips with the fact that I no longer wet women's panties. So sad, but true.

No! Do not go gentle into that good nite haha. Instead of How Stella Got Her Groove Back, it's going to be, How Rhodes Got His Groove Back.

Same for me. I told my lady the other day "Baby, take a good look at this. Because this is as good as it gets."

I've come to the conclusion that it's more fun to scare small children to death, than it is to pick up slutty girls.......no...wait, let me re-think that one.
