Just want to say thanks to everybody here, especially Lones, and Brian Hopper. Lones has given me advice on another forum we're on. I asked Brian how he thought i should prepare for this meet and I did pretty much what he suggested. Only thing I changed was some light lifting during the week of the meet. Thanks for all your help. Between here, the Dave Tate video I was able to increase my bench by 105lbs in the last year. Below is the 2nd and 3rd attempts on bench and deadlift from the push/pull meet I did today. Third attempt on bench was called good, I did a little bounce deal, I notice I've done this with weights I'm not mentally sure I can do. If they hadn't called it good I would have took my fourth attempt. I hit a 20lb PR on bench and Deadlift today, way stoked!
