Well I wanna know how to improve my strength. I have a really big meet on the 11th and I wanna place but its gonna be tough. Any strength training pointers??
I'm 5'7", 208 pounds.
Dead Lift- 415
ummm.....? The 11th as in a week from now? Theres not much you can do between now and then.
I dont know much and im probably not as experienced as you but i'd say make sure you take it steady if you've only got a week. Maybe do some light training and some active recovery to make sure you dont compete feeling beat up at all.
Current 1RM's - Bench 270lbs (Target 308lbs)/Squat 297lbs (Target 352lbs)/
Deadlift 418lbs (Target 440lbs)
BIG 3 TOTAL at 220lbs (28% BF) = 985lbs
6ft 2, 220lb fat, hairy ape!
Currently cutting (Weight was 229lbs on Monday 13.08.12 when i started dieting).

rest..... and as long as you aren't cutting weight, EAT.
you won't get any stronger before then, just don't do anything dumb to mess up what you already have.
