I wanted that 130 bad though. I did get it pretty damn close though, so it is a step. Going to go purchase a set of 5s so I can at least make 10lb jumps, lol

    Saturday-Events
    Loading Medley: 180, 200, 225lb keg and 200lb sandbag all 40 feet x2
    Frame: 505x40 feet 595x30ish feet 645x10feet
Yoke Picks: Worked up to 960lbs

That medley sucks, lol. 1st time playing with the frame (Big Rob brought it down), it weighs 505 dry, it's a beast. It is very wide, so that makes it harder for me to really get my hands wrapped under the handles. I was so psyched to just pick up the 645, let alone move it a little bit. It came with a price though (see pics) then just some yoke picks up to 960 (keeping my feet how they would be if I was going to walk with it) got 1050 up a little bit but not locked out.

    505lb frame empty

My left hand after the 645lb

yeah, lol. We got a guy who is doing the Shaw show, so the medley and frame work were really for him. I'm still so pumped about even moving the 645, lol

    Monday-Power Cleans and Deads
    Power Cleans: 150x3 175x3 195x3
Deads: 315x5 365x5 415x11 (added belt, hitched last rep a bit) Wore straps for everything today, left hand is raw)
Banded Speed Deads (Short Light Bands): 185x4x3
    Front Squats: 185x2x8

Left hand is uber raw, lol. Straps suck though, I don't even like pulling in them, oh well.

Left bicep felt a bit funny, hence the wearing of the elbow sleeve (and wearing it very high)

nice work. I'm with you on straps, I can't get comfortable with them for anything so I just never use 'em

yeah, I feel ok with them on side handle car deads (well the one time I did that event, lol) but for pulls with bar in front, I don't like them. My hook grip feels more secure. I tried it out on cleans, but it hurt, so the straps went on.

    Tuesday-Overhead
    Overhead-150x5 170x5 190x5 225x1 (all from the floor) 235x1 255x1 (from rack)
    Military Press: 135x10
    DB Rows: 110sx10 110sx12

Hand still pissing me off, so I went to the rack after the 225. 255 is a PR, hit 253 with an axle from a rack a few weeks ago. Slight press out at the top, but it's all good it's for strongman not olympic shit.

yeah the split jerks are funny, at least for me. When I make them they don't look rough at all, but with like the 253 axle I missed it the 1st time and wasn't close. Then the 2nd time it went right up. I guess I just gotta learn what I am doing when I am doing them right and be consistent with it.

    Thursday-Squats
Squats: 250x5 285x5 325x8 (added belt) felt heavy, lol
    Front Squats: 185x2x8
    Dimel Deads: 135x15 155x15
    Weighted Decline Sit Ups: 75x2x12

Going to get in a bench session early tomorrow, and then I am off to Florida until the 1st. Will be able to get to a gym at least 3-4 days, but who knows when I will be back to update my log.

Just hit my required reps of 5 on bench day on Friday, then some rows. That was it.

    Today was dedalift day.

Froget the poundages (not on my computer) but top work set was 440 for 3. Then I did 495 for 1, 545 for 1 and 555 for 1. PRS

Then some speed pulls with 195 plus short light bands for 4 sets of 3 and 2 sets of 8 with 185 on front squats.

Went to a sick gym called Muscle Works in Bradenton.

Horrible video of my 555 and ok vid of my 545

Thanks buddy. Yeah, I'm pretty quick off the floor. Gotta keep improving the lockout, although it has been improving.

Did overhead and bench on Tuesday. Not on my computer so I don't remember exact numbers, but didn't push it. Think I did 260 on bench for 5 and just did required reps on overhead. Like 200x3 for top set.

Then did squats on Thursday. Felt like hitting a few singles after top work set of 340(I think) for3. Then 385 for 1 and 410 for 1 (PR)

Then got to do some event work Thursday night. Hit a 250 axle clean and press (PR with clean involved) (missed press on 1st try, but kept at it and got it after 1st miss, didn't have to clean it again).

Then some farmers. Worked up to 2 runs of 240lbs per hand for 80 feet.

I fly back tomorrow night, so will hit deads in the morning.

    thanks

have you taken the frame out yet? Ours is so wide, so it's a bit tougher for me. Still wicked awesome though.

Well got back home last night, will only be home until Saturday morning, then it is off to Oregon for a week. Since next week is a deload week, I think I am just going to push it hard the rest of this week and just take the whole week off for my deload. Not even touch a weight. Will be good for the mind, lol.

    Anyways

    Cycle 5
    Week 3
    75%x5 85%x3 95%x1+
Moved Power Cleans to Thursday due to time shit

    Monday-Power Cleans and Deads
Deads: 365x5 415x3 460x7 (added belt, slight ramp on 7th rep)
Banded Speed Pulls with Short Light Band: 195x4x3
    Front Squats: 185x2x8 225x5
    Russian Twists: 35lb x2x15

    Tuesday-Overhead
Overhead: 170x5 195x3 215x1 245x1 All were cleaned 1st. Push Jerks up to the 215 set.
    Military Press: 135x3x10
Deficit Pendlay Rows: 135x3x10 (Bar was literally ¼ of an inch above toes)
    Seated DB Cleans: 20sx15
    V Bar Pushdowns: 120x27

Really wanted 8 reps on deads, but it wasn't happening. Didn't help that I put my belt on super tight and it was digging into me, lol

Easier than a farmer's walk with the same weight, at least for me. I did 2 rounds with 400lb on the frame and they were easier and quicker than farmer's with 180's.
