yeah, definitely easier than a farmers walk for me too. It's just that the wideness makes my grip go out quicker since I can't get my hands underneath it as much.

    Friday-Bench
    Bench: 225x5 250x3 280x4 (feet flat)
Neutral Grip Chins: 3 sets of 10 scattered throughout.
    DB Rows: 120sx2x8
Circus DB: Worked up to a triple with 90lbs with left arm. Couple Singles with 110lbs with right arm. Couldn’t get 120lbs. I HATE THIS FUCKING THING

PR with my left arm at least. Concentrating on feet flat with bench now. Felt better than it did last week. Overall feeling pretty beat up. Glad this week is a deload and I think taking the whole week completely off will be great for me.

Looks like a good place for your first foray into open LW. Well within your strength

    Thanks

Congrats on your bench at your competition btw, saw it on facebook when I was on Vaca.

The 1st couple times I did it, I flat out hated it. I sucked, lol but the last training day before I left for Oregon it felt much better. So hopefully that continues tomorrow.

    Thursday-Bench
    Bench: 195x5 225x5 255x5
Circus DB-Worked up to 110 with both arms (PR For Left). 110x1 each arm then 120x1 and 130x1 (right arm only PR)
    DB Rows: 110x3x8
    Dimel Deads: 155x2x13 (SuperSetted)
V Bar Cable Pushdowns: 100X2x27 (SuperSetted)

Really happy with the 110 with my left arm (of course stupid phone didn't record it, oh well) and obviously happy with the 130 with my right. Coming along.
I'm doing Dimel Deads every gym training session in the hopes it will help with deadlift lockout and help make me push my hips through at the top.

    Cycle 6
    Week 2
    70%x3 80%x3 90%x3+

    Monday-Full Cleans and Pulls
    Fulll Cleans: Light Full Cleans
Deads: 345x3 395x3 445x8 (added Spud Inc belt)
Speed Deads with Light Short Bands: 195x5x3
    Front Squats: 185x8 225x5
    DB Side Bends: 90sx12
    Weighted Decline Sit Ups: 95x12

Have to train in the evening on Mondays due to class until 4:05pm. Got my new Spud Inc 3 ply deadlift belt in, I like it a bunch, but the XL is a little big on me, so today's pulls were kind of beltless, lol. It's ok though, since it is for Strongman I want to get one of those soft belts like the Rehband or Tommy Kono to go under it, then it will be fine.

Didn't do it Dimel Deads since I did Banded Pulls, but will do Dimel Deads the rest of the week. Probably going to train bench with overhead on Wednesday since I plan on doing quite a bit of overhead work on Saturday during events.

Thanks, lockout is getting better on the pulls.

Teamed up overhead and bench today due to lots of overhead stuff on Saturday, so I didn't want to bench on Friday

    Wednesday-Overhead and Bench
Overhead: 160x3 185x3 205x3 225x1 (added wrist wraps) 245x1 (added elbow sleeves) 260x1 Push jerks until the 225 set.
    Bench: 210x3 240x3 270x3
    T Bar Rows: 3 Platesx15 3 Plates+25x12 4 platesx12 (SuperSetted)
Avg Band Face Pulls: 3x15 (SuperSetted)
    Dimel Deads: 155x2x13 (SuperSetted)
V Bar Cable Pushdowns: 120x2x20 (SuperSetted)

260 was easy (check the vid) I definitely think I had at least 10 more lbs in me, you be the judge. If I didn't have bench after, I would of tried it. Just did required reps on bench.
